About Me
Dr. Raymond E. Hubbe is an ophthalmologist at Eye Physicians of Northampton. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in cornea and anterior segment disease at Duke University. Dr. Hubbe is dedicated to providing high-quality medical eye care, focusing on each patient's individual needs and concerns. He manages a wide range of conditions including corneal diseases, dry eye, glaucoma, retinal and macular diseases, and diabetic eye care.
Although Dr. Hubbe is no longer performing cataract surgeries or corneal transplants, he continues to offer comprehensive medical management and ophthalmic laser treatments. He was among the first eye surgeons in Massachusetts to perform Descemet's Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK) and helped pioneer dropless cataract surgery in Western Massachusetts.
Dr. Hubbe also directs the Nevis Eye Care Program, providing free ophthalmic care to residents of the Island of Nevis. He travels there twice yearly with other volunteer eye doctors.
