Meet Dr. Randy Katz
About Me
Dr. Randy S. Katz is a retina specialist who treats conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, and other diseases of the retina and vitreous. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and actively enrolls patients in national clinical trials for breakthrough retinal treatments at Florida Eye Microsurgical Institute.
Dr. Katz completed his fellowship in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous at Baylor College of Medicine and earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. With over twenty years of experience, he serves as Director of the Ambulatory Surgery Center at Florida Eye. Dr. Katz is known for taking on complex cases, including ocular trauma and retinopathy of prematurity in newborns and children.
