About Me
Dr. Rand Diab is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing comprehensive eye care in Northwest Indiana since 2004. She has extensive experience performing cataract surgeries and offers laser treatments as well as micro invasive glaucoma surgery. Her practice also addresses diabetic eye disease, acute eye injuries and infections, eyelid lesions, and dry eye syndrome.
Dr. Diab joined Helix Eye Care in 2020, bringing with her years of experience from the Franciscan Hammond Clinic. A lifelong resident of the Midwest, she completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and underwent internship at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois, followed by residency at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Diab enjoys sports, fitness, and the outdoors, and cherishes time with her husband and three children.
