About Me
Dr. Radhika Kumar is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialized training in corneal and refractive surgery. She offers advanced corneal transplantation techniques including DMEK and DSAEK, and provides both medical and surgical treatments for corneal disease. In addition, she is skilled in cataract surgery, utilizing the latest intraocular lens technology such as multifocal and toric lenses to help reduce the need for glasses after surgery. Dr. Kumar also provides comprehensive and preventive eye care for patients of all ages, from children to older adults.
Dr. Kumar completed her fellowship in cornea, refractive surgery, and external disease at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She served her ophthalmology residency at the Eye Institute of the Medical College of Wisconsin and an internal medicine internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She is a volunteer instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati, where she enjoys teaching medical students.
