About Me
Dr. Rachel Ellis is a fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing in Hicksville, New York. She specializes in procedures of the eyelids, brows, and tear ducts, and provides post-Mohs facial reconstructive surgery in coordination with a Mohs surgeon. Dr. Ellis treats a range of conditions including benign facial and orbital lesions such as chalazia and styes, upper and lower eyelid drooping, and tearing disorders.
Dr. Ellis earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate and completed her ophthalmology residency there, following an internship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. She then pursued fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic facial reconstructive surgery. In addition to her clinical practice, she instructs residents of the Northwell Health System in oculofacial plastic surgery.
