Dr. Priyanka Parekh

Dr. Priyanka Parekh is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Grand Rapids Ophthalmology. She cares for adults who need comprehensive eye care, cataract evaluation and surgery, or management of glaucoma, and she values clear communication so patients know what to expect before, during and after treatment. In addition to standard cataract options, she helps patients consider advanced technologies such as the Light Adjustable Lens based on their visual needs and lifestyle.

Dr. Parekh completed both her undergraduate studies and medical school at Indiana University. She went on to an ophthalmology residency at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute and advanced subspecialty training in glaucoma at the same institution. Working alongside a large, multispecialty eye team, she coordinates medical and surgical care and emphasizes long-term follow-up to protect vision and quality of life.
