Dr. Pierre Alfred

Dr. Pierre R. Alfred is a board-certified ophthalmologist with The Eye Center, serving patients in Greenfield and Athol, Massachusetts. He specializes in cataract surgery, dry eye disease, glaucoma, laser refractive surgery, and medical aesthetics. Dr. Alfred is dedicated to helping patients improve, enhance, and protect their vision, using the most advanced leading-edge technology available in western Massachusetts. He believes in restoring not just vision, but the ability to interact with and appreciate the world.

Dr. Alfred earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also served as an Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Frederick C. Cordes Eye Society, and the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
