Dr. Peter Kaufer

Dr. Peter Kaufer has proudly called Tucson his home since 2007. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and German, allowing him to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients. Dr. Kaufer places quality patient care above all else, ensuring each individual receives attentive and personalized treatment.

In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Kaufer holds a master's degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from Stanford University. Prior to his medical career, he worked as an aeronautical engineer at Boeing Corporation. He is also a certified single-engine and glider pilot, and a rowing champion, which reflects his discipline and attention to detail.

In his free time, Dr. Kaufer enjoys spending time with his family, both in Tucson and on getaways to Mexico. He has a passion for woodworking, evident in the office doors, and loves kitesurfing. His unique background and hobbies contribute to his compassionate and thorough approach to eye care.
