About Me
Peter Chen, M.D. is a fellowship-trained glaucoma and cataract surgeon at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of cataracts and glaucoma, performing cataract surgery as well as a range of laser and surgical procedures to treat glaucoma. Dr. Chen sees patients at the Blue Ash office and at the University Medical Arts Building.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society and has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed abstracts and journal articles. Dr. Chen completed his medical degree at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He then completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati, serving as a rotating Chief Resident and earning the Residency Award for Outstanding Achievement in Humanism and Clinical Care. He went on to complete a glaucoma fellowship at The Ohio State Havener Eye Institute.
