Dr. Robert Goulet

Dr. Robert Goulet is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who grew up in Carmel, Indiana. He graduated cum laude from Boston College in 2001 and worked with underprivileged children in the Head Start Program before earning his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006.

He completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University, where he served as chief resident, and furthered his expertise with a glaucoma fellowship at Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Dr. Goulet specializes in the management of glaucoma using medications, lasers, and surgical techniques like tube shunts and filtering procedures, and he performs cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation for patients with and without glaucoma.

Before joining Cincinnati Eye Institute, he was a glaucoma specialist in private practice. Dr. Goulet is committed to patient care and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2009. Outside of medicine, he enjoys outdoor activities, road cycling, and cooking with his wife, Andrea.
