Dr. Peter Ririe

Dr. Peter Ririe is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Excel Eye Center, providing care for a wide range of ocular diseases for patients of all ages. He specializes in general ophthalmology, treating conditions including glaucoma, diabetes-related eye issues, ocular trauma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.

Dr. Ririe has extensive training in state-of-the-art cataract surgery and is certified to perform femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery. He has experience using premium astigmatism and presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses to help patients achieve greater freedom from glasses. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of several professional organizations.

Born and raised in Provo, Utah, Dr. Ririe is fluent in Armenian. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a combined medical/surgical internship at John Peter Smith Hospital.
