Meet Dr. Peter A Shriver

Dr. Peter A. Shriver is an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and refractive surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of New England and became board certified in ophthalmology. Dr. Shriver completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of California, California College of Medicine, where he was selected as the Beckman Laser Fellow at the Beckman Laser Institute. He has dedicated his practice primarily to refractive laser procedures and took part in the original FDA trials for LASIK approval, having performed over 10,000 LASIK procedures.

Dr. Shriver provides care for a range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and dry eye. He offers LASIK and PRK laser vision correction, as well as cataract surgery and other refractive procedures. His experience includes treating patients with complex vision issues and customizing surgical approaches to individual needs.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Shriver has been an invited national lecturer on excimer laser and laser vision correction since 1991, and routinely teaches and proctors other ophthalmologists in refractive techniques.
