Dr. Paul Hiss

Dr. Paul W. Hiss is the chief surgeon at Eye Care Associates of Nevada, serving all Northern Nevada locations. He provides precise, skilled surgical treatment with a dedication to technological innovation and the best possible care.

Dr. Hiss completed medical training at the University of California, San Diego, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital and postgraduate training at Florida Eye Care of Melbourne, where he gained expertise in cataract, refractive, and laser surgery. He specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of eye diseases and has performed over 100,000 procedures, including cataract surgery, LASIK, and PRK.

Dr. Hiss is an associate clinical professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and a member of SEE International, through which he has participated in volunteer surgical expeditions restoring sight to those blinded by cataracts.
