Dr. David Chaffin

Dr. David Chaffin is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 29 years of experience in comprehensive eye care. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, having performed more than 40,000 procedures including cataract and LASIK surgeries. His clinical expertise also includes glaucoma management and medical retina treatments.

After earning his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine and completing an internship in internal medicine, Dr. Chaffin completed his ophthalmology residency at UC Davis Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and previously served as Medical Director of Nevada Eye Consultants. He currently practices as a general ophthalmologist on a part-time basis and serves as Director of the Eye Surgery Center of Northern Nevada.

Dr. Chaffin has extensive experience with premium intraocular lenses and has authored multiple publications and presentations on refractive surgery and premium IOL technology. He provides expert medical opinion services for patients seeking specialized eye care.
