Dr. Paul Guerriero

Dr. Paul Guerriero is a board-certified ophthalmic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of retina and vitreous diseases, as well as uveitis. He provides care for patients with conditions affecting the back of the eye, including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Guerriero received his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. During his residency, he was honored with the Louis Girard Award for his contributions to ophthalmic research. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in retina in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Guerriero is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and is a member of the American Retina Specialists.

With extensive experience in medical and surgical retina, Dr. Guerriero focuses on providing expert care for patients with complex vitreoretinal conditions. His major clinical interests include the management of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, helping patients preserve and improve their vision.
