About Me
Dr. Paul J. Rychwalski is a pediatric ophthalmologist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children's Nebraska, where he serves as chief of ophthalmology. He holds the John and Irene Graether Chair in Pediatric Ophthalmology and is a professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. Dr. Rychwalski treats a range of pediatric eye conditions, including strabismus (eye misalignment) and other vision disorders in children.
Dr. Rychwalski brings extensive experience from prior leadership roles, including serving as chief of ophthalmology at Connecticut Children's Medical Center and spending eight years at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, with assignments in Abu Dhabi. He provides patient care at Children's Nebraska and the Truhlsen Eye Institute.
His training includes a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, an ophthalmology residency, and a medical/surgical internship, along with a medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Rychwalski is dedicated to providing specialized eye care for children.
