Dr. Patrick Tsai

Dr. Patrick Tsai is a board-certified ophthalmologist and experienced cataract surgeon who handles both routine and complex cases. He has additional formal training in glaucoma and is considered a glaucoma specialist, to whom other physicians, ophthalmologists, and optometrists often refer patients.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Tsai has cared for thousands of eyes with cataracts and glaucoma. He is skilled in the basics of cataract and glaucoma surgery and has successfully managed special and challenging cases, making him a trusted choice for surgical eye care.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tsai is an Associate Professor in Ophthalmology and previously served as the Residency Program Director at the University of Arizona. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, actively contributing to the field through teaching and professional societies.
