About Me
Dr. Jonathon Gross specialized in the management of glaucoma and practiced general ophthalmology. He was fellowship-trained in glaucoma at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Gross earned his Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University in Detroit and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He also held a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University.
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1991, 2001, and 2011, Dr. Gross practiced in Tucson since 2000, with nine prior years in New Mexico. His clinical focus included evaluating glaucoma suspects, ocular hypertension, angle closure glaucoma, and secondary glaucomas. He provided medical management and laser treatment for glaucoma, offering comprehensive care to his patients.
Dr. Gross recently retired from Tucson Eye Care, leaving a legacy of skilled and compassionate ophthalmological care. His extensive training and board certifications underscore his expertise in the field.
