Dr. Patricia Buehler

Dr. Patricia Buehler is an emeritus ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience as an eye surgeon, having performed thousands of eye and eyelid surgeries. She has trained and supervised surgeons both in the United States and internationally. Although retired from clinical practice at Infocus Eye Care, Dr. Buehler continues to contribute to the field through her company, Osheru, which is developing innovative eyelid lift technology.

One of Dr. Buehler's specialties is blepharoplasty, a procedure to remove excess upper eyelid skin that can improve peripheral vision and appearance. She has developed a novel medical device, the Ziplyft, to simplify and enhance this surgery. Her surgical passions also include cataract and LASIK surgery, and she values the opportunity to use advanced implant lenses and surgical tools to exceed patient expectations. With a Master's in Public Health and Preventative Ophthalmology, she is dedicated to the prevention of eye diseases.

Dr. Buehler is an active community member, having served on the boards of the Bend Surgery Center, Lines for Life, and Summit Bank. She volunteers with Eyecare America and Volunteers in Medicine, and has taught cataract surgeons from Vietnam through the Hawaiian Eye Foundation. In her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, skiing, and watching OSU Beavers games with her husband, Knute.
