Meet Dr. Omar F Abbasi

Dr. Omar Abbasi is a glaucoma specialist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical treatment for glaucoma. He has extensive experience with advanced laser and surgical techniques, including argon and selective laser trabeculoplasty (ALT and SLT), endocyclophotocoagulation (ECP), trabeculectomies, and the placement of ExPRESS mini-shunts and glaucoma drainage implants.

Dr. Abbasi completed his ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute, where he served as chief resident, and then pursued a fellowship in glaucoma and anterior segment surgery at the Washington University Eye Center. In addition to glaucoma, he offers general eye care and consultations for a range of conditions such as cataracts, dry eyes, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
