About Me
Dr. Omar Chaudhary is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal and ocular surface disorders. He is an accomplished cataract surgeon who utilizes advanced techniques such as dropless cataract surgery, astigmatism-correcting toric lenses, and multifocal lenses to restore vision. His expertise in these areas allows him to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex eye conditions.
Dr. Chaudhary is a featured physician in the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Ask An EyeMD program and has been recognized by his peers as a Top Doctor in Bethesda Magazine and Washingtonian Magazine. He frequently lectures other eye doctors in the Washington D.C. area on the treatment of corneal diseases, reflecting his commitment to education and advancing the field. Beyond his clinical work, he has served as the former Executive Director of the ADAMS Compassionate Healthcare Network, a free medical clinic in Northern Virginia, and his charitable efforts have been featured in the Washington Post.
In his personal time, Dr. Chaudhary is an avid snowboarder and GoPro enthusiast. He is a dedicated fan of Duke University basketball.
