Dr. Okezie Igboeli

Dr. Okezie C. Igboeli is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, with particular expertise in laser vision correction. He partners with patients to understand their goals—whether that’s reducing dependence on glasses or addressing vision changes from cataracts—and to choose an approach that fits their eyes and lifestyle.

As an independent laser eye surgeon with The LASIK Vision Institute, Dr. Igboeli performs refractive procedures and has completed over a thousand refractive surgeries. He is fellowship-trained in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery, supporting careful decision-making for patients seeking clearer vision.

Dr. Igboeli earned his B.S. at the University of Houston–Downtown and his M.D. at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed ophthalmology residency training in Tacoma, Washington, followed by a cornea, anterior segment and refractive surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
