About Me
Dr. Noga Harizman is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cornea at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is a Professor of Ophthalmology and serves as the Glaucoma Fellowship program director, bringing extensive expertise in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery techniques. Dr. Harizman is also Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Harlem Hospital-NYC HHC, where she oversees resident education.
Prior to joining Columbia, Dr. Harizman was the Director of Glaucoma Services at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. She completed sequential fellowships in glaucoma and cornea at the same institution, and earned her medical degree from Tel Aviv University Medical School. She is deeply involved in teaching the next generation of ophthalmologists, having received the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary Teaching Award in 2011 and the Philip Knapp Memorial Residents Teaching Award in 2021.
Dr. Harizman provides care for conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, and corneal disorders, and is skilled in advanced surgical and laser procedures. She is committed to offering compassionate, high-quality care to her patients.
