Dr. Nicholas Bell

Dr. Nicholas P. Bell is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma. He also practices general ophthalmology and performs traditional and laser cataract surgery, using standard, toric (astigmatism-correcting), and multifocal intraocular lenses to address a range of vision needs. Dr. Bell has been recognized as one of Houston's Top Doctors and a Top Ophthalmologist in Houston.

Dr. Bell completed his medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine and underwent specialized training, including a glaucoma fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Before joining Eye Center of Texas in 2020, he served as a faculty member at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where he held leadership roles in glaucoma service and fellowship training. His research has focused on angle closure glaucoma and treatment options for glaucoma.
