About Me
Dr. Neil Caye Chungfat is an ophthalmologist with Kaiser Permanente in Colorado, providing both medical and surgical care for a wide range of eye conditions. He has specialized training in cornea surgery and ocular inflammation (uveitis), and also performs cataract surgery and offers medical management for retina conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Dr. Chungfat focuses on delivering personalized, efficient care to help patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options, encouraging active participation in their eye health.
Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Chungfat has lived in various regions of the U.S. and now appreciates Colorado for its natural beauty and outdoor opportunities like snowboarding and hiking. He enjoys building relationships with his patients to support their vision preservation.
Outside of practice, he volunteers his surgical skills abroad, having taught cataract and corneal transplantation procedures in Vietnam. He also enjoys trying new recipes and restaurants.
