Dr. Nasreen Syed

Dr. Syed is an ophthalmologist at University of Iowa Health Care, where she serves as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and Pathology. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and completed fellowship training in Ophthalmic Pathology and Uveitis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of uveitis and a wide range of eye pathology conditions. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care to her patients, valuing the relationships she builds with them and the collaborative environment with her colleagues.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Syed contributes to the academic mission of the university. She sees patients at the University of Iowa Medical Center and Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City.
