About Me
Dr. Nadim Habash is a visiting American Board-Certified Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea, Ocular Surface Diseases, and General Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai. With over 40 years of experience, he has extensive expertise in corneal transplantation and anterior segment diseases, having practiced in the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Habash is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Habash completed his specialty training at George Washington University in Washington D.C., where he served as Chief Resident, and then pursued a Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at the University of Florida. He has held leadership and academic positions at prestigious institutions, including the University of Ohio at Toledo, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, and the American Hospital Dubai, where he was Chief of Medical Staff and Director of Ophthalmology.
His clinical focus includes the management of corneal conditions such as keratoconus, inflammatory diseases, and infections, as well as common eye conditions like chalazion, dry eye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, and eye infections. Dr. Habash is committed to patient care and education, having published research on corneal transplantation and actively taught medical students and ophthalmology residents.
