About Me
Dr. Laura Kearsley is a board-certified ophthalmologist who joined Mountain View Eye Center in 2021. She brings extensive experience in oculoplastic surgery, cataract surgery, and medical retina, allowing her to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of eye conditions.
Dr. Kearsley is also a seasoned refractive surgeon, performing both LASIK and SMILE procedures to correct vision. She is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist and previously served as an adjunct faculty member at the California Pacific Medical Center ophthalmology residency, where she helped train the next generation of eye surgeons.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Kearsley is an avid skier and hiker who enjoys exploring the Alaskan backcountry. She believes that "There is no better reward than being able to help someone achieve a better quality of life. Sight is such a vital part of our lives and having the ability to restore it is what drives me to continue to grow and learn."
