Dr. Mustapha Shayegan

Dr. Mustapha Shayegan is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Eye Surgical Medical Associates in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his medical education at Tehran University School of Medicine, followed by an internship at Bergan Pines Hospital, an ophthalmology residency at Hahnemann University, and an oculoplastic surgery fellowship, also at Hahnemann University. Dr. Shayegan served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Hahnemann, supervising residents in their training and surgical techniques.

Dr. Shayegan provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on cataract and intraocular lens surgery, reconstructive and cosmetic eye plastic surgery, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease management, and external eye diseases. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
