Dr. Mubarik Mohamed

Dr. Isaiah Davies is an ophthalmologist and uveitis specialist at Eye Disease Consultants in West Hartford, Connecticut. His practice focuses on ocular infectious and inflammatory eye diseases, and he provides both medical and surgical care for patients with complex, often chronic eye inflammation. Dr. Davies values the long-term relationships he builds with patients and staff, and he is committed to helping patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options so they can navigate what are sometimes complicated therapies with confidence. Born and raised in Utah, Dr. Davies completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah and earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He went on to an internship at Intermountain Medical Center, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Yale Eye Center. He then completed a fellowship in uveitis and ocular infectious and inflammatory eye diseases at Eye Disease Consultants and chose to remain with the practice after fellowship. Dr. Davies lives in West Hartford with his wife and two children and enjoys spending time with his family outside of work.

Dr. Isha Gupta is a board-certified glaucoma and cataract surgeon at Utah Eye Centers, seeing patients in Ogden and throughout northern Utah. She earned her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, completed an ophthalmology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine Cullen Eye Institute, and then pursued a glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. Dr. Gupta specializes in medical and surgical management of glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and advanced cataract surgery using femtosecond laser technology. As Utah Eye Centers’ dedicated glaucoma specialist, she partners closely with optometrists and other physicians to coordinate long-term care for patients with complex or high-risk disease. She is involved in research and volunteer work and enjoys taking time to educate patients so they understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect before and after surgery. Outside of clinic, she enjoys running, traveling, and trying new restaurants around town.

Dr. Samuel Passi is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, refractive, and cornea surgery as well as the medical and procedural care of dry eye disease. He offers LASIK and PRK, laser and standard cataract surgery, and advanced options such as refractive lens exchange, corneal crosslinking for keratoconus, and partial- and full-thickness corneal transplantation. Patients appreciate his calm communication style and attention to detail from consultation through recovery. Trained at renowned institutions and active in clinical innovation, Dr. Passi also performs anterior segment reconstruction and partners with patients to match technology to lifestyle—aiming for excellent vision and a smooth experience.
