Meet Dr. Mont Cartwright
About Me
Dr. Mont J. Cartwright is a board-certified ophthalmologist who treats a wide range of eye conditions, including cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eyes. He also holds a sub-certification in oculofacial plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery.
With over 25 years of clinical experience and more than 30,000 surgical procedures performed, Dr. Cartwright brings extensive expertise to his practice. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia and a glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He also pursued advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Cartwright founded Medical Eye Associates in Kissimmee, Florida, where he leads a team dedicated to providing high-quality medical and surgical eye care. He has also volunteered his surgical skills with organizations such as the Florida Division of Blind Services and Lions Clubs International.
