About Me
Dr. L. Neal Freeman is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and general ophthalmology. He provides comprehensive eye care and performs oculoplastic surgeries.
Dr. Freeman earned his Bachelor of Science with distinction from Cornell University and his Doctor of Medicine with distinction from the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed an internship at St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Freeman then completed a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Freeman has been recognized for his community service with the Florida Society of Ophthalmology James W. Clower, Jr., MD Community Service Award.
