Dr. Michael Gilbert

Dr. Michael L. Gilbert is a cataract and refractive surgeon and the Medical Director at Northwest Vision Institute in Bellevue, Washington. He founded the practice in 1991 with a vision to provide comprehensive eye care to the Eastside community, and later added Northwest Laser & Surgery Center in 2010 to further this goal. Dr.

Gilbert specializes in the cornea and anterior segment, treating conditions such as cataracts and refractive errors. He completed his education at Baylor College of Medicine, Tulane School of Medicine, and Johns Hopkins. Dr. Gilbert is dedicated to helping patients achieve better vision through advanced surgical techniques and personalized care. Outside of the office, he enjoys cycling and singing in the Bellevue Presbyterian Church Choir.
