Dr. Michael A. Krause is an Assistant Professor and the Associate Residency Program Director in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. His clinical specialty is glaucoma, and he is committed to managing this complex eye disease to preserve and improve patients' vision.

With extensive training, Dr. Krause completed a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2022, where he gained specialized skills. Prior to that, he finished his ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, OH, in 2021.
