Meet Dr. Melissa Faith Game Shipley

Dr. Shipley is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive pediatric eye care. She offers medical and surgical treatment for a range of conditions affecting children, including lazy eye (amblyopia), strabismus (ocular misalignment), blocked tear ducts, pediatric eyelid disorders, cataracts, and glaucoma. She also treats adults experiencing double vision and strabismus.

As the only fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist in the Wilmington area, Dr. Shipley brings specialized expertise to her practice. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Association of Pediatrics. Dr. Shipley is dedicated to improving the lives of her patients and has participated in medical mission work in Guatemala, providing eye surgery to children without access to care. She is known for her patient and compassionate approach, especially with young patients.
