Dr. Matthew Hosler is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery at Associated Eye Physicians and Surgeons of NJ. With both an MD and PhD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, he combines rigorous academic training with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to eye care. He brings extensive research experience and specialized surgical expertise to help patients preserve and restore their vision, drawing on advanced fellowship training in glaucoma surgery and years of clinical excellence.
Dr. Hosler completed the demanding MD/PhD program where he was honored with the prestigious Stanley S. Bergen Medal of Excellence. His advanced training includes an ophthalmology residency at Penn State University School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Glaucoma Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and NYU.
