About Me
Dr. Matthew A. Goldman is an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external disease at Penn State Health. He cares for patients with a wide range of conditions affecting the cornea and the outer surface of the eye, such as keratoconus, dry eye syndrome, pterygium, and corneal infections. Dr. Goldman offers advanced treatments including corneal transplantation surgery to improve vision and relieve discomfort. Dr. Goldman sees patients at the Penn State Health Eye Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Goldman earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed an internship at Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee. He then pursued fellowship training in cornea and external disease at Loma Linda University, where he gained expertise in managing complex corneal conditions.
