About Me
David M. Armesto, MD, FACS, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained refractive surgeon who specializes in corneal transplants and refractive surgery techniques. Dr. Armesto was the first physician in the Harrisburg, PA area to perform LASIK. He treats a range of eye conditions including cataracts, cornea problems, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and glaucoma, and provides advanced surgical options for patients in central Pennsylvania.
Dr. Armesto has served the region since 1992, having opened his private practice Armesto Eye Associates in 2001, which is now part of OCLI Vision. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Department of Veterans Affairs Lebanon Medical Center. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Armesto is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of several professional organizations.
