Dr. Masumi Asahi

Dr. Masumi Asahi is a retina specialist who provides medical and surgical care for conditions affecting the retina, vitreous, and macula. He completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, UC Irvine Health, following his ophthalmology residency at George Washington University.

Dr. Asahi is actively involved in ophthalmic research, having co-authored numerous publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals focused on retinal disease and treatment trends. He is committed to community service, having volunteered to provide free retina care to underserved communities in Santa Ana and continues to support community clinic initiatives.
