Dr. Maryam Ige
About Me
Dr. Maryam Ige is an ophthalmologist with expertise in comprehensive eye care and a strong research background in retinal and glaucoma diseases. She is completing her ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University, where she serves as Chief Resident and has been actively involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Dr. Ige earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University, graduating summa cum laude. Her research on diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, and glaucoma has been published in leading ophthalmology journals.
