Dr. Mary Mehaffey

Dr. Mary G. Mehaffey is an ophthalmologist at Wheaton Eye Clinic, providing comprehensive eye examinations for adults and older children. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of medical diseases and disorders of the eye, offering thorough care to her patients.

Dr. Mehaffey completed her undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech and earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She then completed an internship in internal medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She further advanced her expertise with a two-year fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology at the University of Iowa. Dr. Mehaffey is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
