Dr. Mary Clemons

Dr. Mary Catherine Clemons is an ophthalmologist who recently joined the Shreveport Eye Clinic. She completed her medical degree at Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport and then pursued an internship in general medicine and a residency in ophthalmology at LSUHSC Shreveport. Dr. Clemons further advanced her training with a fellowship in oculoplastics and neuro-ophthalmology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Clemons specializes in eyelid surgery, addressing conditions such as droopy eyelids, excessive tearing, and lid lesions. She also focuses on the treatment and management of diseases that affect the optic nerve, the nerves controlling eye movement, and the connections between the eyes and the brain. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in Ophthalmology, Oculoplastics and Neuro-Ophthalmology.
