Dr. Daniel Kim

Dr. Daniel K. Kim is an ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, and has extensive experience in treating eye trauma and reconstructing the delicate structures around the eyes. His training at Henry Ford Hospital, a tertiary trauma center, provided him with skills in managing complex orbital injuries.

Dr. Kim’s journey to medicine was inspired by his grandfather, a thoracic surgeon. Born in Korea and raised in Indiana, he pursued a career in ophthalmology after being mentored by leaders in the field. Today, he is part of LaHaye Total Eye Care, where he is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality eye care. Dr. Kim treats a range of conditions related to the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbits, helping patients restore both function and appearance.
