Dr. Martha Leen

Dr. Martha Leen is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataracts and glaucoma. She provides a complete range of glaucoma services, including evaluation, medical treatment, laser surgery, and incisional surgery, and has a special interest in complex and advanced glaucomas. She also performs cataract surgery and combined glaucoma/cataract procedures.

Dr. Leen completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at Brown University, followed by a medical internship at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University, an ophthalmology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, and a glaucoma fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. She served as a full-time faculty glaucoma specialist at the University of Washington before moving to the Kitsap Peninsula. She has published numerous articles and book chapters, given over 100 lectures on glaucoma, and serves as an instructor at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting.

Recognized by her peers, Dr. Leen has been selected for inclusion in The Best Doctors in America from 1996 to 2020. She has also been a certified instructor for the Trabectome glaucoma surgical procedure and a co-investigator in multicenter glaucoma studies.
