Dr. Mark Mcdermott

Dr. McDermott is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Wayne Health offering comprehensive eye care to patients in the Detroit area. His clinical interests include cataract evaluation and surgery, as well as the diagnosis and management of cornea and external eye diseases. He is committed to providing personalized treatment plans to help preserve and improve vision. Dr.

McDermott sees patients at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit and at the Southfield location, where he provides a full range of ophthalmic services including routine exams, medical management, and surgical treatments. He is affiliated with several hospitals including Detroit Receiving Hospital, Harper Hospital, and Sinai-Grace Hospital, among others. Dr. McDermott completed his medical education and residency at the University of Wisconsin and advanced fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
