Dr. Mark Hite

Dr. Mark H. Hite is a board-certified ophthalmologist offering comprehensive eye care, with a focus on cataract surgery, refractive cataract surgery with premium lens options, glaucoma, and retinal disease. He was one of the first surgeons in the region to perform refractive surgery and no-stitch, topical anesthesia cataract surgery.

Dr. Hite earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology training at Case Western Reserve University, where he served as chief resident. He joined Glens Falls Eye Associates in 1993 and is on staff at Glens Falls Hospital, where he formerly chaired the Department of Ophthalmology. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the New York Eye Surgery Center.
