Dr. Mark Johnston

Dr. Mark E. Johnston is an ophthalmologist specializing in laser refractive surgery, cataract surgery, and corneal surgery. He has performed over 50,000 LASIK procedures and served as Medical and Surgical Director at Nebraska Laser Eye Associates from 1998 to 2020. Dr. Johnston has been performing laser refractive procedures since 1995 and cataract and corneal surgery since 1985. He also underwent LASIK himself in 1998, reflecting his personal confidence in the procedure.

Dr. Johnston's training includes a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Western Ontario and a fellowship in Corneal and External Diseases at the University of Michigan. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Johnston provides care in Omaha, Nebraska.
