Dr. Mario del Cid is a board-certified retina specialist and surgeon with the Retina Group of Florida. A native of South Florida, he focuses on diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of vitreoretinal conditions, working collaboratively with patients to restore and preserve vision. His approach emphasizes creating meaningful patient relationships and utilizing state-of-the-art techniques for retinal care.

Dr. del Cid completed a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery and has a research interest in non-steroidal therapeutics in ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and American Academy of Ophthalmology, and serves as a voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida International University. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
