Dr. Lucy Bailey, MD, MPH is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who enjoys caring for patients of all ages. She offers full-spectrum eye care with a focus on clear communication and shared decision-making, so each person understands their diagnosis and treatment options. Patients see Dr. Bailey for routine and complex cataracts, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, and common eyelid concerns such as chalazia and ptosis. She is also experienced with advanced lens technologies, including Light Adjustable Lenses, to personalize vision after cataract surgery. A Houston native, Dr. Bailey completed medical school at Columbia University, earned a Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and returned home for ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She later joined Houston Eye Associates, where she provides attentive, efficient care across multiple clinic locations.
