Dr. Linda Fairchild

L. Cassidy Fairchild, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients across the Lowcountry. A South Carolina native, she enjoys caring for families in the community where she grew up and trained. Dr. Fairchild provides routine and preventive eye care, cataract evaluation and surgery, and management of common conditions such as glaucoma and dry eye. She graduated summa cum laude with a biology degree from Presbyterian College and earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where she represented her program at the AAO Mid-Year Forum. Dr. Fairchild is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Women in Ophthalmology, and the South Carolina Society of Ophthalmology, and she strives to create a welcoming, personalized experience for every patient.
